Twitch is at it Agai… on It’s Okay to like T… Rant: Tired of the Social Media Bullshit.I thought Wish-all's description said it gave a "free command decision", so I thought it would just let you do exactly that - a 0 CP command decision even in a round where you've already used a normal command decision. Though I guess the upgrades you made is a large part of what determines whether missions are hard, and diplomat mission comes early enough that there weren't that many upgrades made yet. For me, this freighter mission was harder because unlike the other two I wasn't able to get a "kill everyone" win on Ensign. Wedding Mission is just as hard as diplomat mission I thought. I don't think there is another mission as hard as these. Some people say this second one is harder. Otherwise you can sell it to Sophia, the mining store.įor me the hardest mission was the first diplomat rescue/escort mission. It lets you reverse a choice that is based on your prior choices. Originally posted by Ngazi:I only remember one part of the story that uses the Wishall. Also, during the mission I didn't see any option to use it, where is it? Ofc an extra $10k for upgrades wouldn't have been near enough to get me the "kill all" win on this one. It could've taken out a couple more riders or maybe a capital ship.Īlso after the mission I noticed that I still hadn't sold the Wish-all. Would've actually had a bit more reward had I not accidentally moved Sunrider at the end there. #Sunrider mask of arcadius rescue mission full#Would've had to reduce the difficulty one or two more notches for the full win of $10-11k, but I figured keeping "lowest difficulty" at Ensign was better for my self-esteem. Used 1 Vanguard, 1 Full Forward, came up with about 3600 Command Point profit and $4800 after repairs. If any remaining story missions are harder, then I need the mission reward to stand a chance.Įdit: Ok, managed to beat it on Ensign the "running" way, going by the general approach of a youtube video I found. If no story mission is as hard, then that's fine. So here's a silly question - is this the hardest mission of the game? It's a side mission so can be skipped, but then I miss the rewards. Yup, even on Ensign, my best effort was using 3-4 Vanguard Cannons to barely hold out until the last wave (I think) comes in to slaughter me. I also don't know what you mean by "units with smaller flak coverage able to intercept missiles". I don't even know if the command decisions last more than 1 turn, much less how armor interacts with guns and missiles. The problem is, from experience, as soon as I start checking guides, my enjoyment plummets and I am likely to abandon the game shortly.Īnd the game seriously doesn't give enough information about the mechanics. When I move, I can't shoot - especially the slow-poke flagship. It's probably because I concentrated on upping energy weapons, but missiles are too limited to be useful, and kinetics require you to be right on top of the enemy. I don't do enough damage to clear them, and they do more damage than Liberty can repair. And maybe check some guides on what the optimal builds are, because seriously, I have no clue how I'm supposed to survive these gauntlets of ships constantly warping in. I'm probably just going to restart on a lower difficulty and see if I can get that diplomat escort done.
